Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") applies to all use of Vested Gifts ("Vested") services. It supplements our Terms of Service. Violating this AUP is a violation of the Terms and may result in content removal, account suspension or termination, and, where appropriate, referral to law enforcement.

1. Prohibited Content

You may not post, create, transmit, or share content that:

• Is unlawful, defamatory, threatening, harassing, hateful, or obscene;
• Sexually exploits, depicts, or endangers minors;
• Contains the personal information of any person without that person's authorization;
• Infringes any copyright, trademark, trade secret, right of publicity, or other intellectual property right;
• Includes a photograph of a child who is not the recipient identified by the Custodian, unless the photographer or subject's guardian has consented;
• Contains malware, viruses, or links intended to compromise security;
• Promotes violence, terrorism, illegal drugs, or weapons of mass destruction;
• Falsely impersonates another person, business, or organization, including Vested.

2. Prohibited Conduct

You may not:

• Use the Services in violation of any law, regulation, or third-party right;
• Misrepresent your identity, your relationship to a recipient, or the source or intent of a Pledge;
• Use the Services to defraud another person — for example, by recording a Pledge you do not intend to fulfill in order to manipulate the recipient or Custodian;
• Send unsolicited bulk messages, "spam Pledges," or solicitations through the Services;
• Use any automated means (bots, crawlers, scripts) to access the Services except for publicly permitted indexing of public pages;
• Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to derive source code from the Services;
• Attempt to bypass authentication, magic links, rate limits, or other security controls;
• Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Services other than through our coordinated disclosure process (see Section 5);
• Access another user's account, Book, or Pledge without authorization;
• Interfere with or disrupt the Services or the experience of other users;
• Use the Services to compete directly with Vested, including by collecting Vested data to train a competing product;
• Sell, transfer, or sublicense access to your account or any authentication link.

3. Financial Conduct

You may not:

• Represent yourself as a broker, dealer, investment adviser, or affiliate of Robinhood or any brokerage when posting on the Services;
• Use the Services to solicit investments, securities offerings, or other regulated financial products;
• Use the Services to promote a money-transmission, money-laundering, or stored-value scheme;
• Use the Services to evade any sanction or AML obligation.

4. Communications Conduct

If you opt in to email or SMS communications:

• You may not provide a phone number or email address that you do not control;
• You may not use the Services to send communications that violate the federal CAN-SPAM Act, the federal TCPA, or any state communications law;
• You will respect carrier rules and the carrier filtering recommendations for A2P 10DLC traffic.

5. Security Research & Responsible Disclosure

We welcome good-faith security research. If you identify a vulnerability, email support@vestedgifts.com with a clear description and steps to reproduce. We will acknowledge receipt within 5 business days. Please:

• Do not access, modify, or download data belonging to other users;
• Do not perform denial-of-service tests;
• Give us reasonable time to investigate and remediate before public disclosure.

We will not pursue legal action against researchers acting in good faith within these limits.

6. Enforcement

We may, at our discretion and without prior notice:

• Remove or restrict access to content that violates this AUP;
• Suspend or terminate accounts associated with a violation;
• Cooperate with law enforcement or regulatory authorities;
• Pursue civil remedies including damages and injunctive relief.

Repeated or material violations will result in permanent termination.

7. Reporting

To report a violation, email support@vestedgifts.com with the URL, a description, and any evidence (screenshots, message IDs). For copyright claims, see the DMCA Policy.

8. Changes

We may update this AUP. The "Effective Date" reflects the current version.
